These clients sold their quaint Seattle home they had lived in for decades to move into a sleek, very contemporary residence. But they didn't leave their art, their baby grand piano nor any of their memories behind.

With a main residence in Calgary, this couple decided to create a retreat in La Quinta, CA to spend winter months. They bought a standard builder track house, remodeled it but you would never know it from the photos.

For years the clients saw an empty lot perched on a hillside overlooking Providence. When it came on the market, they snatched it up and hired us to design an interior that is anything but "traditional design" in Providence.

It is one thing to assemble an art collection of glass and ceramics. And its quite another to have just the right spaces and places in which to arrange and display the collection. But it works very well in this residence.

This urban condo in the sky is small at just 1,400 square feet but it is efficient, packed with details and has great design elements including bamboo floors, Asian artifacts and amazing views from the windows.
